𝒔𝒐𝒅𝑨 residency is an annual mobile residency program that selects an artist, artists or collective to work with closely and provide resources, exhibition space and encouragement for their studio practice. Our 2018 resident is 𝑫𝒊𝒆𝒈𝒐 𝑺𝒂𝒍𝒗𝒂𝒅𝒐𝒓 𝑹𝒊𝒐𝒔.

Diego Salvador Rios is an artist that deals with the realities of production from an existential but also a material perspective. Writing, found objects and the influence of his intimate surroundings are part of the practice, that become a reflection of social structures and power. His work often engages the viewer through performatic gestures using mediums as sculpture, sound and painting. Recent exhibitions include Nunca Godo at Lodos, अव at Galería La Esperanza, Pet Peeve at Lock Up International and (=ↀωↀ=)✧ at Ladrón Galería.
